A young boy was arrested on a charge of armed robbery after allegedly robbing a truck driver with a toy gun,
police in Australia said. Guildford police said that they have arrested the unidentified 10-year-old boy after being accused of holding up a truck driver with a toy gun on Wednesday.
According to the police investigation, the 28-year-old driver was sitting in his truck after making a delivery at a shopping center on Great Eastern Highway. Around 4:30 p.m., the driver was approached by a small person. The suspect was wearing dark clothes with a hood covering his head.
He pointed a gun at the driver and made threats after pulling the trigger. Police arrested the boy not far from the scene, and he was found in possession of a toy gun. He was charged with one count of armed robbery.
