Genevieve Nnaji Tells Us Why She Never Talks About Her Daughter

Over the course of this year, we noticed how various celebrities came out of the closet and revealed that they had kids and the next thing, photos of their kids were all over social media.

Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji however chose a different path.

The veteran actress has revealed why she has for long shrouded the identity of her daughter and hardly talks about her in the media.

She told Olisa Adibua during the recent edition of his The Truth programme: ‘I don’t answer such questions because that is a part of me that existed way before people got to know about Genevieve, so that s why it’s private. That is a part of me that I have going for me because after that I didn’t own my life anymore.’

She continued with an advice, ‘I would say, Everybody falls, that is what makes us human, the only super humans are the  people who rise (after).’

Unconfirmed reports have it that the actress had her daughter almost 20 years ago  when she was just a teenager.

‘Bird’ That Allegedly Transformed To Woman Dies In Lagos Hospital

A middle-aged woman, who caused commotion at the Cappa Bus Stop in Oshodi, Lagos State last Friday, after eyewitnesses claimed she transformed from a bird into a human being, has died.

Some of the eyewitnesses, who claimed the woman had fallen off after hitting an electric cable as a ‘bird’ but transformed into a badly burnt woman upon landing, was alleged to have confessed to being a witch with metaphysical powers.

Although policemen from the Mushin Division, Olosan, who raced to the scene and later took the woman away, was already unconscious before arriving at the hospital.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Kenneth Nwosu, while confirming her death to PUNCH METRO, said the woman’s corpse had been deposited at a morgue.

“Eyewitnesses said there was a bird which fell down and turned into a woman. So, a large crowd gathered round her. She was not attacked. Eventually, when the police got there, they rescued the woman from the surging crowd. But unfortunately, she died, and her body has been deposited at the Mainland General Hospital’s morgue”, Nwosu, a Deputy Superintendent of Police said.

What You Should Do When There is No Romance in Your Marriage

The answer is simple: Seek help. You are focusing a great deal on the lack of s*xual and physical intimacy in your marriage. While these things are very important, they cannot sustain a marriage. You should strive to address what I perceive to be spiritual and emotional challenges with your husband. Explore whether he is emotionally or physically challenged in regards to making love.

In working with hundreds of men over the years, I have learned that men’s decision to withdraw from having s*x or expressing intimacy stems from two areas: emotional distress and/or s*xual dysfunction. Once you identify your husband’s challenge, you will be better equipped to determine if you should remain married. Furthermore, you will learn how to respond to him appropriately.

I do not believe that a wife or husband should walk away from his or her significant other if the person has potential and is willing to grow. However, it is important to be mindful of the fact that a man or woman will not change unless he or she wants to do so. So, do not think that you can change your husband if he does not want or desire help. You can support your husband and ask him to attend professional counseling, but if he refuses, then what? Pray about it and seek God’s guidance. If he refuses to seek help, you should still consider it for personal growth.

MOTHER ARRESTED AFTER HER DAUGHTER TOOK HEROIN TO DAYCARE CENTER

Some parents these days are absolutely terrible and should not be allowed to have children.

A woman from Delaware by the name of Ashley Tull was detained after her young daughter allegedly took 249 bags of heroin to her daycare center.

Not only did the little girl take the bags of heroin to her daycare center, she passed them out to other children because she thought there was candy inside the bags.

According to recent reports, the 4-year-old girl took a different backpack than usual to Hickory Tree Child Care Center Monday after a pet urinated on her usual backpack.

When the 4-year-old girl arrived at the daycare center she found the little bags of heroin and, she believed sweet treats were left behind by her mother 30-year-old Ashley Tull, which led her to hand the bags out to her fellow classmates. Police officials were called around 11:45 am after several daycare workers spotted the children running around with the heroin bags.

Authorities discovered over a total of 3.735 grams of heroin. Some of the children ate the heroin and were immediately rushed to the hospital.

No serious injuries were reported, but a few of the children did get high. Cops were under the impression the bags belonged to the little girl’s mother.

Ashley Tull was arrested and charged with maintaining a drug property and endangering the welfare of a child, according to WPVI.

The girl’s daughter and two other children were taken into the custody of another family member. Ashley Tull was released on $6,000 bond and will make her first appearance in court later this month.

In-Laws Of Ini Edo To Expose Her Affair With Governor If…

Ini Edo’s divorce saga just got messier as her in-laws are reportedly threatening to wash her dirty linens in public.

The in-laws have threatened to make public dirty details about her alleged s*x life while she was still legally married to her husband, Philips Ehiagwina, while also calling her a liar for saying she never cheated on her husband.

A source close to the family said: “Ini Edo should shut up about the marriage crash because with the way she is going; by trying to paint Phillip as the wrong party, we may be forced to open her can of worms and it will not be palatable to her and her career. I can tell you that Ini Edo is a serial cheat who played the field behind her husband’s back for the duration of their marriage. Is she going to deny she was dating one Island big boy whose girlfriend organised her friends to beat her up and injure her? Ini Edo is not as innocent as she is trying to make people believe or think.”

According to the source, they caught Ini Edo on three different occasions with different men and if she dares them, they will mention the name of a South-South governor she had an affair with.

Also speaking on the matter, a close friend of her husband said: “Did she tell you how Phillip embarrassed her in front of her people when he went to collect his bride price? He told her people the kind of adulterous daughter they have and how she had been cheating on him right from the first day they were married. In fact, he did not want to collect the bride price but her people begged him to collect it as that would free her to get married to another man in the future.”

Meanwhile, Ruth Okoro , the ex-wife of Philip Ehiagwina has since moved on with her life after her ex-husband pitched tent with Ini Edo.

She is now a medical administrator, actress, and model based in Manhattan, New York.

Way back in 2007, a year before Ini wedded her estranged husband, Philip, Ruth had written an open letter to the popular actress saying:

“Hi Ini, I have information that you are having an affair with my husband, Philip Ehiagwina. He has been deceiving girls all over the place, making them believe he has heaven and earth. You are not the only girl obviously, but Ini watch your back so you don’t regret, I have nothing against you but a piece of advice. I heard that you might be pregnant for him, if it’s true, good luck. I called your manager and told her everything. You are a very pretty girl and should know how to respect your body and pray for the right husband. Do not be carried away by flashy things cause that could be deadly too. All that glitters isn’t gold, remember.”

DIVORCE SAGA: The Truth About Tiwa Savage

Popular celebrity couple, Tiwa Savage and her hubby, Tunji Balogun have been in the spot light of recent, following news of their marital challenges.

Tiwa was a guest on Saturday’s edition of “The Truth” with Olisa.

During the interview session, the songstress spoke about a lot issues including her controversial hit track ‘Wanted’ video, the music industry, family and her marriage.

On how she got into music, she said when she was about 14-years-old, she had a crush on a guy in school who seemed like he was only interested in girls who were into music and so she joined the music group in school.

On male artiste in Nigeria she would like to work with, she said Tuface.

Speaking on her controversial ‘Wanted’ video, she said: “Every woman has that element and that period where they just feel sexy inside.I think I was going through a phase. Yea I wasn’t scared to show it and wasn’t scared of any backlash that was going to come ,because I know that whatever happens,I can always back up any controversy with my talent . The song is my favourite in my album. It might not be most people’s cup of tea in Nigeria, but internationally, they listen to that song and they love it . The guy who produced it is Oak, who produced “Your love “for Nicki Minaj. So I love the song.”

She said she has no regrets about the video and is influenced by Beyonce and Mariah Carey.

“I’m influenced all the time. I wasn’t thinking whether Nigeria was ready or not, I was just doing something from an artistic point of view.No regrets at all,” she said.

However, when asked about her husband Teebillz, and if they were cool, she refused to say a word, all she did was zip her mouth. Even when asked about their honeymoon and where they spent it, she still didn’t utter a word.

BUSTED AGAIN! South Africa Bust Another Nigerian Arms Deal, Seizes $5.7m

Barely three weeks after South African authorities seized a private jet in Johannesburg which transported $9.3million in cash packed in several suitcases for arms purchase, they have yet again confiscated another US$5.7 million arms deal money from Nigeria, South Africa-based City Express reports.

According to the report, the $5.7 million (about N952 million), alleged to be proceeds of illegal transactions, was seized by the South Africa’s Asset Forfeiture Unit of the National Prosecuting Authority.

The transaction was said to be between Cerberus Risk Solutions, an arms broker in Cape Town, and Societe D’Equipments Internationaux, a Nigerian company based in Abuja.

However, the deal fell apart after Cerberus which had earlier received R60 million (N1.02 billion) from Nigeria in its account at Standard Bank, tried to repay the money as it could not resolve its registration formalities with the South African authorities.

The bank became suspicious after Cerberus tried to pay the money back to the Nigerian company.

The report said the NPA’s Asset Forfeiture Unit subsequently obtained a court order in the South Gauteng High Court to seize the money but the NPA spokesperson Nathi Mncube, said there were no indications the two transactions (the first deal of $9.3million and the latest) were related.

Mr. Mncube was quoted as saying: “However, both are now the subject of a criminal investigation and all possible information and connections are being investigated.”

Under South African laws, a person entering or leaving the country is expected to carry cash not exceeding US$2,300, or the equivalent in foreign currency notes.

The news of the first transaction was trailed by controversy in Nigeria as the Nigerian government claimed it was behind the arms deal and had acted out of desperation for arms to defeat Boko Haram.

After it emerged that the private jet involved belonged to the head of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Ayo Ortisejafor, the clergy man came under serious attack and criticism.

Responding to reports that the private jet belonged to him, Oritsejafor, who is a close ally of President Goodluck Jonathan, said the plane had been leased to a third party and he could not be blamed for its schedules.

Falcao strikes winner for Man Utd

Manchester United returned to the Premier League's
top four for the first time in more than a year as
Radamel Falcao's first United goal proved decisive
against Everton.
Angel Di Maria's calm finish gave the hosts a lead that
survived to half-time as Leighton Baines saw a penalty
saved.
Baines picked out Steven Naismith to nod in an equaliser
and Falcao cleared a Phil Jagielka header off the line.
But Falcao stabbed in from Di Maria's shot to grab the
winner.
Everton, who have won only one of their first seven league
games, could easily have taken something from the game
but Bryan Oviedo, who scored the winner in the fixture last
season, was denied by a tremendous stoppage-time save
from David De Gea.
The Spaniard also had to be alert to keep out a late Leon
Osman effort but, while United will be concerned by their
vulnerability under late pressure, the result and the three
points were paramount.
Their first back-to-back league wins under Louis van Gaal
carry the Dutchman's side into the Champions League
qualification places for the first time since they drew with
Chelsea in predecessor David Moyes' second league match
in charge.
With the international break, their next game is not until 20
October when they are away to West Brom and Van Gaal will
hope his new-look side can consolidate their form to ensure
more comfortable afternoons at Old Trafford.
United had begun in buoyant mood, making early inroads
down the left with record signing Di Maria and Luke Shaw
doubling up on Tony Hibbert, but the opener arrived
courtesy of a delivery from the opposite flank.
Baines could only clear Rafael's cross to Juan Mata, who laid
the ball into the path of Di Maria to apply a composed finish
with his weaker right foot from 15 yards.
Up until that point, Everton's attempts to build attacks had
floundered around Romelu Lukaku with the Belgian short of
support from midfield, but they posed more of a threat after
falling behind.
Lukaku's aerial presence caused concern and he darted
between Paddy McNair and Marcos Rojo to fire over before
Kevin Friend pointed to the spot on the stroke of half-time
after a foul by Luke Shaw.
The former Southampton left-back possibly made contact
with the ball but his clumsy sliding tackle on Tony Hibbert
gave the referee a difficult decision to make.
However, Baines failed for the first time in 15 Premier
League spot-kicks, side-footing an unconvincing shot within
range of De Gea's dive.
Baines made partial amends as he picked out Naismith's
late arrival into the six-yard box following a clever free-kick
routine with Gareth Barry, while anxiety increased around
Old Trafford as Falcao was forced into some last-ditch
defending from Jagielka's effort.
But the Colombian, who had done little to impress in his
fourth appearance since his loan move from Monaco,
pounced on Di Maria's mis-hit to score the decisive goal.
Everton manager Roberto Martinez:
"We're disappointed with the second goal. I thought the
referee made a major, major error. I just don't understand
that decision.
"Steven Pienaar receives a knock and he goes to ground, the
ball is in front of him and the referee is well aware of it. He
is talking with the fourth official.
"It is a clear-cut decision. The law says if the player is on the
ground and the ball is not in a dangerous position you need
to stop the game.
"Manchester United attack and the ball ends up in our net - I
don't think that is fair."

Chelsea too good for Arsenal

Chelsea cemented their position at the top of the
Premier League with victory over Arsenal as Arsene
Wenger's winless streak against Jose Mourinho was
extended to 12 games.
The old adversaries squared up in an ugly first-half moment
when Wenger shoved Mourinho in the chest in Chelsea's
technical area after Gary Cahill's challenge on Arsenal
forward Alexis Sanchez.
A semblance of order was restored although the tension still
resurfaced - but as so often, it was Mourinho who had the
last word with a win that puts the Blues five points ahead of
second-placed Manchester City.
Eden Hazard's first-half penalty put them on their way after
he was fouled by Laurent Koscielny, while Diego Costa's
ninth goal in seven games since his £32m summer move
from Atletico Madrid wrapped up the win.
This never threatened to be a repeat of Chelsea's 6-0
thrashing of Arsenal in March that marred Wenger's 1,000th
match in charge of the Gunners, but there was rarely a
moment when his side threatened to end his dismal
sequence against Mourinho as they suffered their first
league loss of the season.
The home side may not have produced the flamboyant
football that has featured in some of their play this season,
but the old steel at the back is still in evidence and, in Costa
and former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas, they have
acquired a potent partnership.
Costa's goalscoring has caught the eye but the wonderful
raking pass from Fabregas that set up the second goal
silenced the taunts aimed from the visiting fans and was his
seventh Premier League assist of the season.
It was the crowning moment of a Chelsea performance that
was ruthlessly efficient and sounded an ominous note to
those hoping to stop Mourinho reclaiming the Premier
League title this season.

Chelsea even survived the early loss of goalkeeper Thibaut
Courtois, who was taken off before half-time and replaced
by Petr Cech after taking a bang on the head in a collision
with Sanchez, with the Belgian taken to hospital as a
precaution.
Courtois's problems started when he raced out to beat
Sanchez to a through ball and there was an accidental clash
between the pair - the young goalkeeper recovered after
being flat out but was unable to complete the half, the
Chelsea medical team eventually signalling to Mourinho that
he need to be replaced.
If the action on the pitch took time to get going, there was no
time-wasting between Mourinho and Wenger as their
obvious personal animosity quickly boiled over.
Wenger took exception to Mourinho giving his view on
Cahill's tackle on Sanchez, marching menacingly into the
Chelsea technical area before giving his counterpart a very
clear two-handed shove in the chest.
Mourinho, not surprisingly, was unimpressed and it took the
intervention of fourth official Jon Moss to at least restore a
small measure of calm between the pair.
Arsenal had acquitted themselves well without putting
Chelsea under serious pressure, but were unlocked by the
pace and trickery of Hazard to go behind after 27 minutes.
Koscielny had no other answer to the Belgian's run into the
area than to stick his leg out and bring him down, with
Hazard recovering his poise to score from the spot.
Chelsea, while not being at their best, had restricted Arsenal
to the extent that the visiting attacking threat was non-
existent, but the Gunners had a genuine grievance when
Fabregas stopped Jack Wilshere's shot from the edge of the
area with raised arms just after the hour, only for referee
Martin Atkinson to remain unmoved.
And while Chelsea were resolute in defence, there remained
the ever-present threat of Costa. He had barely been in the
game but pounced to put the match out of Arsenal's reach
with 12 minutes left.
Fabregas, as he has been so often this season since joining
Chelsea from Barcelona in the summer, was the creator, as
a long pass sent Costa beyond Arsenal's defence to lift a
finish over Wojciech Szczesny.

Second Lunar Eclipse Of 2014 To Bring ‘Blood Moon’ On October 8

If you’ve been feeling a strong urge to howl lately, there’s a reason why: A full “blood moon” is coming Oct. 8. Just check out the NASA video above.

All werewolf jokes aside, the total lunar eclipse will be the second — and final — “blood moon” of the year. It will be visible in the United States and Canada early Wednesday morning, with better viewing for those in the western part of the continent, as indicated in the map below.

The full eclipse will start at 6:25 a.m. EDT and last until 7:24 a.m, according to NASA.

Full lunar eclipses are often called “blood moons” because of the reddish tint they adopt as sunsets and sunrises seen from Earth reflect onto the surface of the moon.

Because this eclipse will happen two days after a lunar perigee, which is the point when the moon is nearest to Earth, NASA says the moon will appear 5.3 percent larger than the previous “blood moon,” which occurred on April 15.

This eclipse marks the second in a series of four lunar eclipses in a row, known as a “tetrad.” We’ll experience just eight tetrads this century, according to the Washington Post, and we won’t experience the next tetrad until around 2032 or 2033.

Ancelotti: I can't expect James to play like Di Maria for Real Madrid

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti
admits he cannot expect James
Rodriguez to offer the exact same
qualities as Angel Di Maria.
Di Maria left the Spanish capital in
the summer to join Manchester
United for £59.7 million, while
Rodriguez joined from Monaco for
£70m.
But Ancelotti insists it is unfair to expect the Colombia
international to fulfil the same role.
"James is not Di Maria," the 55-year-old told reporters. "He is a
different player with different qualities.
"I'm going to use him for that reason, not because I expect the
same from him.
"Both players have different technical characteristics. I'm
happy with him and he is focused on the job he has to do. He's
doing well and will get better," he added.
James was rested for Madrid’s last game, a 2-1 win over
Ludogorets in the Champions League, but Ancelotti confirmed
that he will feature against Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.

Secondary School Teachers Allegedly Had a Threesome With a Student

After a weekend of rumors, Kenner police released mug shots and additional details on a s*x scandal involving two Destrehan High School English teachers and a student.

Jefferson Parish authorities said both teachers, Shelley S. Dufresne, 32, and Rachel Respess, 24, are facing felony charges of carnal knowledge of a juvenile, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and indecent behavior with a juvenile.

According to Kenner Police Chief Michael Glaser, the two teachers met with a Destrehan High student after a football game on September 12th, then drove to Respess’s Kenner apartment where the three had s*x simultaneously until the early morning hours of the 13th.

“You have an educator, I guess, the responsibility is the safety and education of the children and when it goes outside those lines I believe the community should be outraged,” Chief Glaser said at a press conference Wednesday.

The student, who authorities say is a junior at Destrehan High, is now 17, but was 16 when the alleged relationships began. Former students told WGNO the student and both teachers had been involved for some time, meeting for s*x multiple times and documenting some of their encounters on video.

“This Rachel Respess was an English teacher of the victim last school year, so she did have some type of contact and knew him. Shelley Dufresne is his current teacher,” Glaser explained.

For Shelley Dufresne this is her second trip to jail in one week. She is also facing charges out of St. Charles Parish where authorities believe the relationship continued.

According to Dufresne’s Destrehan High profile, she is a Louisiana State University and Destrehan High alum, graduating from DHS in 2000. She is currently in her tenth year as a teacher, is married with three young children, and is the daughter of St. Charles Parish Judge Emile St. Pierre.

Rachel Respess’s profile revealed she began her second year at DHS and is also an LSU and Destrehan High alum, graduating high school in 2008.

Chief Glaser said the alleged acts are unfortunate, but not surprising.

“Nothing surprises me anymore really, but I do believe its
lack of a better judgment. They should have known better,” he said.

33-Year-Old Docked For Rapping 6-Year-Old, Giving Her STD

This is a very perverted world we live in today and we must look after our children. A doctor in Muskegon Township, Michigan recently examined a 6-year-old girl has been infected with a sexually transmitted disease. This examination led authorities to a 33-year-old man who has been charged with defiling the child.

According to recent reports, a warrant was signed charging Brian Lee Gillespie, 33, of Michigan, with criminal s*xual conduct, first-degree, which involves penetration, said Muskegon County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Timothy Maat.

Brian Lee Gillespie was charged with criminal s*xual conduct in the first-degree because this is the maximum penalty for that s*x offense. He will be facing life in prison or any number of years the prosecution feels like he deserves.

Brian Lee Gillespie has also been charged as a repeat offender for an obstructing and resisting police conviction from 2012.

Maat said Gillespie allegedly defiled the girl at a Muskegon Township House from January 2013 to September 2013. An investigation was started after Child Protective Services was contacted after a physician confirmed the child had a sexually transmitted disease.

CPS and Muskegon Township Police officials then launched a joint investigation which led them to Brian Lee Gillespie.

Muskegon County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Timothy Maat refused to say how Gillespie knew the child as a way to protect the young victim’s identity.

The child’s mother has been very helpful with the investigation, according to Timothy Maat.

Brian Lee Gillespie was recently captured by authorities. He is currently sitting in the Muskegon County Jail and is being held on $200,000 cash bond. As of 1 pm Thursday, Oct. 2, he had not yet been arraigned.

Guy Sent To Prison After Urinating Inside 3-Year-Old’s Mouth

A man from Scranton, Pennsylvania will spend the next four years in prison after he decided to urinate on a three-year-old child. Not only did James Acevedo-Schneider urinate on the child, he also forced the three-year-old boy to drink his urine.

According to the Times Tribune, James Acevedo-Schneider said he was extremely drunk from drinking Four Lokos when he peed on the three-year-old boy and thought it was a funny game.

James told police that he and the three-year-old boy were at war with each other. He went on to tell police that two weeks ago he urinated in a cup and made the child drink his urine.

James Acevedo-Schneider was found with the screaming three-year-old boy by Scranton Patrolman Matthew Phillips. When the child’s mother came back to the house, the child screamed out to his mother and told her James urinated in his mouth.

Not only will James Acevedo-Schneider have to serve his jail sentence, he will be placed on the Pennsylvania s*x offenders registry for the next 15 years.

APC Calls For Psychiatric Tests For Candidates Seeking Political Offices

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has advised that the call in some quarters, on the basis of constitutional provisions, to subject candidates seeking political offices in the country to psychiatric tests, to prevent people with a mental imbalance from taking over the affairs of state.

According to the party, the attack on judges in Ekiti State has shown the importance of psychiatric testing for prospective political office holders.

APC, in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed after a sitting on the matter by the National Judicial Council (NJC) said “Now that the Chief Judge of Ekiti has confirmed, in a petition to the National Judicial Council (NJC), that Fayose was complicit in the attack, the NJC should treat the issue expeditiously by taking a decisive action that will make it very costly for anyone to ever attack a judge again.

“The need to act is urgent so that no judge gets killed simply because some powerful personality does not like his or her ruling. Had the relevant authorities acted with dispatch when another court in the same state was invaded by pro-Fayose thugs earlier the same week, the attack on Justice Adeyeye would have been averted,” it said.

According to the party, no decent society tolerates attack on judges, as it portends danger for democracy.

The party also slammed the police authorities in Ekiti State for not protecting judges and lawyers from hoodlums who attacked the state High Court on September 25th.

APC called on the IG to sanction the policemen, “who stood idly by as thugs were attacking judges, lawyers, litigants and others.”

The APC reiterated its call for the arrest of Ekiti State Governor-elect Ayodele Fayose, who allegedly led thugs to attack a judge of the High Court, saying the police “must always carry out its constitutional duties no matter which politician is flouting the law”.

According to the party, it is more important to ensure judges are secured and the administration of justice in unfettered as this transcends politics.

The APC also appealed to the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) to look into the matter and ensure that anyone found guilty of the senseless attack on judges does not go scot-free. Fayose should therefore be prosecuted as soon as possible before Fayose assumes office.

Uefa Sanctions CSKA for Crowd Disturbance

Uefa have ordered CSKA Moscow to play their next three European home matches behind closed doors.

The Uefa Control, Ethic and Disciplinary body took the decision after racist chanting and violence from the Russian champions’ supporters in last month’s UEFA Champions League Group E opening loss to AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.

The governing body said in its statement: “The Russian team have also been fined €200,000. In addition, CSKA are banned from selling tickets to their fans for the next two UEFA Champions League group stage games which the club will play as the visiting side.”

European Football Governing Body Punishes CSKA Moscow.

This means CSKA will host Premier League champions Manchester City behind a closed Arena Khimki doors on 21 October and there will be no visiting fans at the Etihad Stadium in the return leg just over a fortnight later.

FG Set To Privatise Airports

Nigeria plans to privatise its airports, Director-General, Bureau of Public Enterprise (BPE), Mr. Benjamin Dikki revealed on Thursday in Abuja, in his presentation on “Reforms and Privatisation Opportunities in Nigeria” at the ongoing nineth Abuja International Trade Fair.

According to Dikki, the privatisation will commence soon.

“We are planning to commence the privatisation of airports; the airports will be more efficient if the private sector is running them.

“Very soon, we will engage the Minister of Aviation and we will start a new process of privatising or concessioning of airports just like we have done with the seaports.

“We are likely to grant concession of maybe 15 to 20 years, according to the business model agreed on, so that investors can make a reasonable return on the investment during the concession period,” said Dikki.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that BPE has also commenced work on the process of privatising some coal blocs and sale of non-core assets of Nigeria Coal Corporation (NCC) and Nigeria Mining Corporation.

According to Dikki, the National Council on Privatisation (NCP) has approved the sale of residential houses and lands of NCC, Naraguta and Maiduguri Bricks, non-core assets of Makeri, and the Ogwashi-Azagba coal bloc.

The BPE is also working on passing some Bills including the Federal Road Authority Bill, Railway Bill, Inland Waterways Bill, Ports and Harbour Reform Bill and Postal Reform Bill. These he said, when passed, will eliminate monopoly in all key sectors of the economy, create more jobs and deepen economic growth.

Tinubu, Ladoja, David Mark In Closed Door Meetings With Obasanjo

Senate President, David Mark, national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, as well as former governor of Oyo State, Senator Rashidi Ladoja all held separate closed-door meetings with former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Friday, reports Vanguard.

The politicians were said to have met with Obasanjo at his hilltop residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

According to the report, the first meeting held between Tinubu and Obasanjo had Ladoja present and lasted for almost two hours.

Mark’s visit to Obasanjo was said to have been aimed at persuading the former president to work for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2015 general elections.

The closed-door meeting between Obasanjo and Mark however commenced immediately after he arrived Obasanjo’s residence in the afternoon, shortly after Tinubu and others left the premises of the former president’s residence, lasting for almost two hours.

Obasanjo had left the PDP in January after disclosing his decision in a letter to Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, who was the National chairman of the party at the time. Few months later, his loyalists also dumped the ruling party for the APC raising fears on what the consequences of the former president working against the PDP might be for the party in the 2015 elections.

Obasanjo has never hid his criticism of President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration, especially on the way he has been handling insecurity in the country.

It is however expected that Mark’s meeting with Obasanjo will yield fruits, but the APC’s courting of the former president must have heightened fears.

Van Gaal: Everton Will Be Interesting But I’ll Miss Rooney

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has spoken of his admiration of Everton FC football philosophy ahead of the sides’ Premier League clash on Sunday.

Everton defeated the ‘Red Devils’ on the road for the first time in 21 years last season courtesy of Costa Rican midfielder Brian Oviedo’s effort in the 86th minute. The Goodison Park outfit then sealed a 2-0 win in the reverse fixture in April to complete a double against United for the first time since 1969.

“I have to say that I like Everton because they want to play football like I want to play football. It shall be a very interesting game,” said the 63-year-old in his pre-match media briefing on Friday.

“I know we lost to them twice last season so it will be difficult. I hope we can dominate the game but they will want to do that too. They are more likely to play on the counter than us. That’s also the difficulty.”

Everton 1-1 in last weekend’s Merseyside derby at Liverpool’s Anfield and snatched a similar outcome in Russia against FC Krasnodar in the Europa League on Thursday.

United, who are without midweek commitments this season after an early League Cup exit, would be expected to take advantage of their opponents commitment in Europe. But the Dutch boss thinks the ‘Toffees’ will rather fancy their chances of registering another nerve-wrecking three points at the used-to-be-fortress ‘Theater of Dream’.

“You have to look at how did you fly?” opined Van Gaal. “How did you manage that as a group or as individual players? It’s logical to say maybe we have the benefit but the motivation to play at Old Trafford against United is maybe much more important than the flight.”

Van Gaal is however not ruling out the prospect of playing midweek friendlies abroad after reports in the midweek suggested that the 20-time English champions have began weighing up options on setting up lucrative fixtures to avert a further twist of fortunes.

“I spoke with Ed (Woodward) and Richard (Arnold) last week,” he said. “I fully agree.

“I’m used to playing midweeks. I have said in the first three months we must wait because it’s difficult enough for the players to adapt to the new playing style and organization.

“They shall honour that, I like to play midweek games against high level opponents.”

As well as maintaining the club’s structure after the disappointing seventh-place finish last season under David Moyes; United will look to restore a winning mentality which has long deserted the team.

Having held on to a 2-1 half-time lead at home to West Ham with ten men last week, Van Gaal will count on the likes of Patrick McNair, who is set to retain his place after an impressive debut against the Hammers, to ward off Everton’s attack threat.

The boss admits he will “miss” Wayne Rooney, who is suspended for the whole of October after picking up his third United career red card in the previous match, but hints Spain midfielder Juan Mata could fill in for the captain.

Van Gaal added: “In his position Juan Mata has played very well. I have to choose. I will miss Wayne because he is the captain of the team but Mata can also play very well.”

Meanwhile, Rooney’s absence extends Van Gaal’s selection woes with a hosts of his squad members yet to return from injury.

“We have eight injuries and one red card so nine players are not available,” he said. “It’s difficult to explain. You can be fit but not match fit – that’s a big difference. For example, Ander Herrera is fit but he cannot play because of his rib pressure. Marouane Fellaini has trained for one week but is not fit to play 90 minutes.”

Sturridge Signs Long-Term Contract WIth Liverpool

Daniel Sturridge has signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool.

The 25-year-old English striker, who joined the Anfield club from Chelsea in January 2013, has scored 36 goals in 52 appearances- including 21 in the Premier League as the club finished runners-up behind another of his former employers Manchester City.

“It’s a big, big day in my life to commit to this club and to give my best years, which are ahead of me,” Sturridge told Liverpool’s official website

Sturridge, who has missed the ‘Reds’s’last six matches with a hamstring injury, says extending his stay with the Merseysiders was “an easy decision”.
He added: “There are a lot of things I’m happy with how they’ve gone so far, but there is a lot to come.

“I may have had some good games and scored some goals, but literally this is the beginning in terms of what I can show.

“We were so close to success last season and it was a bitter pill to take not winning the league, but that’s just a taster of what the fans will get – but hopefully this time we’ll have the trophies to show for it.”

No competition with Ronaldo - Messi

Barcelona forward Lionel Messi says he is not
competing with Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo as he
closes in on the Spanish league goalscoring record.
Messi, 27, is on 248 goals, three behind Athletic Bilbao
legend Telmo Zarra, who scored his 251 in the 1940s and
50s.
"I just concentrate on playing my game, doing my work," he
said.
"I'm not interested in competition with Cristiano. Individual
prizes are the least important thing in football."
Argentina international Messi would equal the Spanish
record with a hat-trick at Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.
"It would be very nice to become the leading scorer in such
a special and important league," he said. "It would be very
special, but all in good time.
"I don't know what my place in the history of the game will
be. I'm just focussed on improving and winning more."
Messi said he is enjoying playing under manager Luis
Enrique, who replaced Gerardo Martino in the summer after
Barcelona missed out on the La Liga title on the final day.
Barcelona are top of the table with five wins and a draw
from six games, having scored 17 goals without conceding.
"We're working well in training and we are trying to carry
that forward into the games," Messi said.
"The team is growing and we are on the right track. There's
more to come once we take everything on board that the
boss is asking of us.
"You work differently when there's a new coach. He tells us
what he wants and we have to try and take that in as quickly
as we can."

Kenyan Pastor Makes Women Take Off Panties & Bras During Church

A pastor from a church in Dandora Phase 2, an eastern suburb Nairobi, the Kenyan capital, has ordered all female members to go to the church ‘free’ – That is without bras and panties for Christ to enter their lives.

Reverend Njohi of the Lord’s Propeller Redemption Church has advised female worshippers against wearing any undergarments to the church, calling them ungodly.

In a meeting chaired by him, a law was passed banning the wearing of inner wears. Njohi claims that when going to church, people need to be free in ‘body’ and ‘spirit’ to receive Christ.

He went ahead to warn members of dire consequences if they secretly put on their inner wears. A member of the church who pleaded anonymity said at last Sunday’s service, women dressed as the pastor had ordered without bras and panties.

Mothers were also advised to do same and check their daughters when coming to church on Sundays so as to receive Christ too.

Student Leaks Vidéo Of Her And Her Lecturer Having S3x

According to 411Vibes, a young Ghanian student, who claimed to be in one of the well known Federal institution in Ghana, sent in a scandalous vidéo.

The source claims that the girl in the vidéo, who happens to be the one of the `bigger girls on campus clique’  has been known for her promíscuous ways and séxual relations with loads of people but has never gone to the extent of fílming her séx-tapé.

The source also hinted that though the lecturer didn’t have a problem with their séxual activity being filmed, he never would have expected it to leak as she assured him it was just for their viewing pleasure.

Apparently, the vidéo has been making its rounds on the internet lately.

Making and releasing séx-tapé is starting to become a new norm in the African society as young men and women who are hoping for quick fame have now realised that selling séx is the fastest way to get there.

Do you think we should accept these new acts as just the signs of changing times, or do you believe such acts of séxual promíscuity should be nippéd in the bud.

Australian Fighter Jets To Join US To Strike ISIL In Iraq

The Australian cabinet has just authorized military air strikes on the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) group on Iraqi territory and the deployment of special forces troops to combat the fighters.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott said the deployment to Iraq “could be quite lengthy. Certainly, months rather than weeks.”

He said the decision to intervene came at the request of the Iraqi government and that it was in Australia’s national interest.

“Yes, it is a combat deployment, but it is an essentially humanitarian mission to protect the people of Iraq and ultimately the people of Australia from the murderous rage of the ISIL death cult,” Abbott said.

“ISIL must be disrupted and degraded at home and abroad, so it is absolutely in Australia’s national interests that this mission go ahead,” he said.

Australia recently heightened its security alert, citing threats attacks by ISIL sympathisers on its soil.

ISIL has seized large swathes of territory in Iraq and neighbouring Syria. The UN has accused the group of carrying out a “staggering array” of human rights abuses that may amount to war crimes, attacking civilians and committing targeted executions, abductions and r*pe.

The announcement that Australia will participate in air strikes came days after its military jets took part in support missions over Iraq with the US-led international coalition.

“It could take quite some time, but we will know that we are succeeding, when ISIL are in retreat, not in advance. We will know that we are succeeding when the Iraqi government is restoring a modicum of control over its own cities and towns,” Abbott said.

The announcement of an Australian combat role on Friday has been widely anticipated since the Super Hornets were pre-deployed to the United Arab Emirates more than two weeks ago in response to a formal request from the United States for specific contributions to the international coalition.

Defence Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin said the air strikes would start “over the coming days,” but would not be more specific.

Two unarmed Australian air force planes – an E-7A Wedgetail surveillance and communications jet and a KC-30A refuelling plane – joined operations over Iraq from the al-Minhad Air Base outside Dubai for the first time on Wednesday in support roles.

The government says the number of Super Hornets could soon be increased to eight.

The Australian deployment also includes a 200-strong ground force, including special forces, to advise security forces inside Iraq, plus 400 air force personnel.

The special forces will also deploy to Iraq to “advise and assist Iraqi security forces” once the appropriate legal arrangements were in place with the Iraqi government, Abbott said.

Abbott has restricted combat operations to Iraq and has ruled out Australian troops fighting on the ground.

Australia is among dozens of countries from Europe, Middle East and including Canada that have signed up to the US-led coalition fighting ISIIL in Iraq and Syria. Contributions vary and include military assistance and humanitarian aid as well as carrying out air strikes.

Four People Currently Quarantined In US Over Ebola Fears

While the Ebola virus is been well contained in some West African countries, the US is experiencing its first major scare.

Four people close to the first person diagnosed with Ebola in the US have been quarantined in a Dallas apartment as health officials widen their search for people who had direct or indirect contact with him.

US health officials said on Thursday that 12 to 18 people had direct contact with Thomas Eric Duncan, who flew to Texas from Liberia via Brussels and Washington DC two weeks ago, and they in turn had contact with scores of others.

Up to 100 people have been contacted and a handful are being monitored, according to Dr Thomas Frieden, director of the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

None of those thought to have had contact with the patient were showing symptoms of Ebola, Dallas County officials said.

Duncan had been staying in a Dallas apartment, where quarantine is being implemented.

He stayed there for about a week before going to a Dallas hospital, according to health authorities.

“The sheets were placed in a sealed plastic bag and have been in the bag, as well as the belongings of Mr Duncan, those were also in a bag,” Clay Jenkins, Dallas county’s top political official, said.

In Liberia, Binyah Kesselly, the head of the country’s airport authority, said the government could prosecute Duncan for denying he had contact with someone who was eventually diagnosed with Ebola.

The government said Duncan failed to declare that he helped neighbor Marthalene Williams after she fell critically ill on September 15 and died in days after that.

The Texas hospital, where Duncan is being treated, had announced a day earlier that the patient’s symptoms and recent travel indicated a case of Ebola, the virus that has killed more than 3,000 people across West Africa and infected a handful of Americans who have traveled to that region.

“The infected person came from Liberia on September 19 and began to develop symptoms on September 24. He first sought care on the 26th of September and on the 28th was admitted in Texas,” Frieden said.

The CDC has said 12 other people in the US have been tested for Ebola since July 27. Those tests came back negative.

Four American aid workers who have become infected while volunteering in West Africa have been treated in special isolation facilities in hospitals in Atlanta and Nebraska, and a US doctor exposed to the virus in Sierra Leone is under observation in a similar facility at the National Institutes of Health.

According to the CDC, Ebola symptoms can include fever, muscle pain, vomiting and bleeding, and can appear as long as 21 days after exposure to the virus.

US health officials have been preparing since summer in case an individual traveler arrived here unknowingly infected, telling hospitals what infection-control steps to take to prevent the virus from spreading in health facilities.

People boarding planes in the outbreak zone are checked for fever, but symptoms can begin up to 21 days after exposure.

Ebola is not contagious until symptoms begin, and it takes close contact with bodily fluids to spread.

Anita Joseph: “Nkem Owoh Touched My br**sts For Real”

Our Nollywood stars are beginning to portray their scenes like it should be and some Nigerians seem to think it’s still all fake.

For some of you who have seen the movie, ‘Gamblers’ and have been doubting if Nkem Owoh touched Anita Joseph’s boobies for real or not, doubt no more because the actress just confirmed he did.

While speaking with a Vanguard reporter, Anita said the director said he was supposed to touch it for real, and he had to allow him touch it.

See excerpts below: -

There was a movie I saw you, where Nkem Owoh was touching your b**bs, what movie was that?
That movie was The Gamblers. In the script, they said he was supposed to touch my bre*sts; we have to make it real so I gave him my chest to touch and that thing blew people’s minds. That was the whole idea, he touched it for real.

She was also spotted with Afrocandy during Afrocandy’s last trip to Nigeria at Excellent Hotel in Ogba, and here’s what Anita said about their new friendship;

Yes, we are. We’ve not done the job yet. She just did an audition and I was invited over to help in the casting. We did an audition at Excellence Hotel so I went there to help her cast and I’m part of the movie too.

APC Reiterates Call For Arrest, Prosecution Of Fayose Over Court Invasion

The All Progressives Congress has again reiterated its call for the arrest and prosecution of Ekiti State Governor-elect, Mr. Ayodele Fayose for leading a group of thugs to attack Justice Adeyeye on the premises of the State High Court on September 25th, warning that failure to act decisively on the matter now would spell danger for Judges and the nation’s democracy.

In a statement issued in London on Thursday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, APC said the issue of the security of Judges and the unfettered administration of justice transcends politics, hence no politician, no matter his status, must be allowed to go scot-free after attacking Judges.

The opposition party said any delay in taking action will see Fayose assume office, meaning he can no longer be arrested and prosecuted for what is an egregious contempt of court.

APC said the attack on Judges in Ekiti has also reinforced the call in some quarters, on the basis of constitutional provisions, to subject candidates seeking political offices in the country to psychiatric tests, to prevent people with mental imbalance from taking over the affairs of state.

The party said those who are trivializing the issue and trying to play dirty politics with it should take a moment to think of what Fayose will do to the Judges whom he led thugs to beat up, when he finally assumes office as Governor of the state on October 16.

APC also called on the Inspector-General of Police to sanction the policemen, who were said to have looked the other way as thugs were attacking Judges, lawyers, litigants and others, saying the police must always carry out its constitutional duties no matter which politician is flouting the law.

The party also appealed to the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) to take the lead in ensuring that those behind the senseless attack on Judges in Ekiti are made to face the full wrath of the law, irrespective of their status in society.

Atiku Supports Buhari’s Decision To Vie For APC Presidential Ticket

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who is seeking the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has welcomed the decision of a former head of state, Muhammadu Buhari, to join the race for the 2015 general elections on the platform of APC.

Mr. Buhari, while addressing the various support groups canvasing for his election on Tuesday, declared his intention to seek the ticket of the APC.

“With your support, I intend to offer myself for the position of the president of the republic on the platform of our great party”, Buhari, who has contested for the position on three previous occasions without success, told his supporters.

On his part, Mr. Abubakar, who has also contested for the presidency more than once, formally declared his intention to again run for the position on the APC platform. He announced his interest September 24 at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja.

Both APC chieftains are from the northern part of the country and enjoy widespread support in the region.

In a statement he personally signed Thursday, the ex-VP said the task of rescuing Nigeria is a duty leaders of the APC are committed to and, “the more individuals ready to be part of the mission to rescue the country, the better”.

“Nigeria has floundered for far too long. Our people are yearning for a change and we must listen to them before they lose faith in the ability of their leaders to revive the country”, he said.

“You will recall that during my declaration speech penultimate week, I did mention that my priority, if given the chance to run and serve as the President of Nigeria is addressing the issues of jobs creation and providing decent employment for Nigerians, especially the youths.

“I believe that it is only when we can provide decent jobs for our young people, that we can have a hope for the decent future for our country”.

He said it was not in doubt that of recent, successive administrations had failed woefully in building the infrastructure that could promote a healthy economy, adding “our education system is in shambles, public health system is in virtual comatose, we have very poor network of roads totally at variance with the wealth of a country that is the seventh oil producer in the world”.

Mr. Abubakar said he believed that Nigeria had failed in these areas because of the excessive centralisation of functions and resources to the government at the centre.

According to him, an APC-led federal administration would devolve power and resources to state governments in line with the party’s manifesto.

The Turakin Adamawa added, “I believe that the country has failed in these areas because of the excessive centralisation of functions and resources to the government at the centre. The government that the APC plans to lead in the next few months, by the grace of God, will be fully committed to devolution of powers and resources to the state governments in line with the manifesto of our great party. I also plan to march this resolve with a full commitment to ensuring transparency in all sectors of our national life.

“I am equally disturbed about the way our people have been divided along ethnic and religious fault lines and how we are steadily and dangerously losing a sense of community where every Nigerian can live together without mutual suspicion.

“I believe that the next president of our country, who by the grace of God will be produced by our great party, must be someone who is a unifier, bridge-builder and not someone who bears ethno-religious bias. Above all, he must embody a vision of a Nigeria for all.

“I have no doubt in my mind that we both share a common concern about rescuing our country from the deadly grip of the PDP and it is on this note that I do warmly welcome him on board in this very important national rescue mission. I look forward to meeting him in an open, free and fair contest for the ticket”.

5 Pieces of Garbage You Should Throw Out of Your Life Now

It seems like everyone is in a race to be the best — the best parent, the best spouse, the best neighbor, the best PTA president. To become the best, people often lose sight of the things that really matter. Unfortunately, I’ve even seen this in my own life. As my husband worked toward a law degree, I pushed forward, day after day, trying my best to be a supportive wife — the best homemaker, the best mom, the best neighbor, etc. But I often found myself burned out and discouraged. At times, I just couldn’t do it.

This shouldn’t have happened. I shouldn’t have allowed myself to become consumed by the need to be the best in every aspect of life, and neither should you. As I contemplated what I needed to change, I realized I was carrying garbage. I was holding on to habits and thoughts that were tearing me down. I needed to throw things out and never look back again.

Here are five pieces of garbage you should quickly toss out and never hoard.

Doubt

When my husband started law school, we moved hundreds of miles away from family and friends. I knew nobody and I could hardly navigate our town with the million one-way streets. I had a lot of doubt about what my husband and I were doing, why we felt we were supposed to be in this town, how I was going to raise a family so far away from my family, etc.

According to an article in the Huffington Post, self-doubt leads to anxiety and depression, which, in turn, leads to numerous physical and mental consequences like weight gain, high blood pressure and chronic fatigue.

When doubt creeps into our minds, when we start to question “why,” it can consume us. It can tear us down until we give up on everything. However, it doesn’t have to. When you start to experience doubt, pull out your notebook and make a list of all the good in your situation. Think about your good qualities, about the blessings and tender mercies you receive each and every day. Also, don’t be afraid to talk to someone about your feelings. Positivity from another person is the perfect way to throw out any doubt you have about yourself or your current situation.

Fear of failure

It isn’t uncommon to let the fear of failure stop us from accomplishing our goals. When thoughts of failure creep into your mind, just think about the worst possible scenario. Often, it really isn’t as bad as you think, or you can plan ahead to avoid that situation. When you create a plan, you are prepared. When you are prepared, you cannot fail.

Procrastination

Procrastination is a terrible, nasty habit that will only stop you from reaching your full potential. Many people come up with a million excuses why they should put something off: the kids are taking a nap, I’ll wait until my husband comes home, etc. However, putting things off doesn’t help. In fact, it only makes things worse. I am a firm believer in creating a daily to-do list and schedule. If you know exactly what needs to be done and you prioritize your tasks, it is easier to keep working throughout the day. Plus, the feeling of satisfaction as you cross items off the list is contagious.

Laziness

Laziness goes hand-in-hand with procrastination. Being lazy doesn’t just mean being idle in family and household responsibilities. It also refers to our physical bodies and our health. If we do not put forth the effort to properly care for our bodies, we won’t have the energy to become our best. We won’t be able to care for our children, be supportive spouses and manage our households. Throw away your lazy habits and participate in some type of physical activity every day. It doesn’t have to be a large or overexerting workout — just move. Also, be careful of what you eat. You don’t want to eat anything that will suck away your energy. Put food in your body that will fuel it like fruits, veggies, protein, etc.

Over-analyzing

We may not realize it, but over-analyzing situations can be a large burden on us and it’s something we need to get rid of fast. We may find ourselves in many situations where we don’t feel comfortable or something is said that makes us upset. People may critique your parenting or say something about your marriage or how you run your household, etc. Don’t overanalyze what they say. If it isn’t kind or if it is judgmental, push it away. Don’t dwell on it and don’t think about it.

You can easily lose sight of the things that matter by losing focus on your life. Evaluate your life. Think about those things that are tearing you down and throw them out. Get a giant garbage can and chuck them. You will feel so much better.

Men, Reasons You Are Not Justified To Lust, Objectify Or Stare At Other Women

I’m a man.

This is embarrassing and I’m ashamed of myself for it, but I need to confess it. The other day while at the mall, a young woman in skin tight, short shorts turned my head. The rule is I can look for a second or two but I cannot stare. Staring is essentially lusting or fantasizing.

This time – I did. I stared for quite some time and just watched her walk.

After about 20 seconds I noticed a young man staring at her too, not even trying to hide it. He boldly moved in for a closer look. And then I noticed an older man watching her. That slapped me hard in the face! I, was among several men gawking at this woman. I shook it off and bolted for the exit. I was ashamed of myself for objectifying her. Granted, she wore those shorts for a reason, but I need to be responsible for my own actions. There is no hope for me to fully honor God and my wife – operating from that sinful place.

I’m a married man.

Men, Here’s where I think we men fool ourselves into thinking we are justified to objectify and lust after women.

1. If She Wears it, She WANTS Me to Look

That may or may not be true. However, just because she wears it, or doesn’t wear enough, does not give you the right to drool or inappropriately stare. She has her own reasons for her choice of clothing, that shouldn’t justify lusting after anyone other than your wife. If a man drops his wallet, does his mistake mean you can have his money and use his credit cards? I don’t think so.

2. Our s*x Life Has Diminished

Listen to me men. Our lady’s lady parts do not have an on/off switch. We might. But most women aren’t wired like that. She needs to be romanced all day and everyday. I don’t necessarily mean wine and flowers, I mean a kiss before work, a little/lot of housework help, a text or phone call to say – you are thinking of her, reconnecting with her about her or your day after work. Romance is NOT turning over right before the lights go out and jumping her bones. She’s NOT ready yet… and that’s OK. Your wife needs emotional connection and new love everyday. that is the way God wired her. Let me also be clear.. just because the frequency of your s*x life has diminished, it does not give you the right to cheat on her, entertain emotional affairs, flirt and/or engage in p****graphy.

black_man_cheating-648×250

3. s*x is Everywhere!

These days, 85% of commercials, TV shows and/or movies are peppered with s*xual innuendos. If these s*xual ads are triggers for you, steer clear of them. Arrest them, call them out and chase them away. Even David, a man after God’s own heart (1 Samuel 13:14) was tempted, but he allowed the trigger to manifest into much more. Arrest your triggers!

4. Stop Comparing

It is very difficult not to compare your s*x life with OTHER things. Other things such as TV, movies, p****graphy, locker room talk, etc. That OTHER stuff is not real. The problem with comparing is that you will always find something better if you search for it hard enough. It’s a FALSE scale. And it’s completely unfair to set that expectation of your spouse. How can they measure up to something so unreal?

5. You are a Selfish Little Man

We all are. We are all born selfish creatures. We came into this world wanting to eat, sleep and go to the bathroom and cried if we didn’t get our way. Our selfish nature doesn’t go away when we get married. It may get stuffed for a while, but it resurfaces like a lurking, stealth submarine. Our selfishness comes out when we have unmet expectations. Things we want but don’t get – so we get resentful and angry about it. s*x is the same way. I remember stewing in the dark, in bed after the newlywed years because I expected s*x, never said anything and didn’t get it. Sometimes I was so angry, I couldn’t even sleep.

Men our selfishness will/may cause us to sin against God and our wife. We get angry, resentful, frustrated, controlling, manipulative, mean, etc. We tend to justify our fall with P0*n, lust, flirting with her not meeting our needs. All lies. These are lies hand-crafted by Satan to distance you from God’s will and separate you from your wife.

Arrest the lies, triggers, protect your eyes, communicate expectations, romance your wives and get back into God’s full favor.

I’m a happily married man.

5 Reasons Men Marry Older Women

let us explore the reasons that make men allured towards older women.

#1. Respectful and responsible
A prominent psychiatrist, Sanjay Chugh feels that, “Just as a woman would look for a father figure or fulfil her needs for protection in an older man, a man would look for a mother figure or fulfil his needs for tender care and love in an older woman.”
Thus an older woman will be nurturing as well as be an epicentre of strength in the times of difficulties. As she has more experiences of life than her partner, her right guidance in tough situations will make him feel more confident.

#2. Gratifying intimacy
As per various studies, it is found that women reach their s*xual peak quite later in life as compared to men. In addition, they still look young and hot at that age. On the other hand, older women find young men energetic and more dynamic. This results in an extraordinarily fulfilling physical intimacy. And, this is also a reason most men fall for older women.

#3. Women age gracefully
It is true that everyone gets better with age and so does women. According to Atul Verma, a clinical psychologist, “Younger people usually are drawn to older people because they are more mature- and more successful.” As a woman gains experience in life, she becomes more contented. This also inculcates in her a certain degree of financial and emotional stability. This is perhaps the most important factor why a man gets attracted to her.

#4. Strike a better chord
The most striking aspect of any relationship is the communication between the partners. An older woman, who indulges in intelligent conversations, can make a young man go head over heels.

#5. Age is just a number
In today’s world it is impossible to determine someone’s age. Those whom you may think are in their late thirties, might actually be forty plus. Also, you never ask someone’s age before falling in love, right? Hence, the relationships wherein women are older than their partners, are as justified as the reverse ones.

Indian railway officials confirm that at least 12 people have died after two passenger trains collided head on in the northern part of the country.

The collision took place near Gorakhpur station, about 270km (167 miles) from the state capital, Lucknow.

Some reports said the Krishak Express, travelling from Varanasi to Gorakhpur, overshot the signal and rammed into the Barauni Express from behind.

At least 45 people were injured in the accident. Officials said: – “In the first instance, it appears that the accident took place because of an error on the part of the driver and assistant driver of the Krishak Express. They have both been suspended with immediate effect,”

The injured have been admitted to hospital and rescue operations are under way, he added.

India’s railway network operates 9,000 passenger trains and carries some 18 million passengers every day.

There have been numerous train accidents in recent years, killing hundreds of people.

In May, 23 people died after a passenger train derailed and hit a stationary goods train also in Uttar Pradesh, officials said.

In December, 26 people died in a fire which engulfed a carriage of the Nanded-Bangalore Express while it was travelling through southern Andhra Pradesh state.

In August last year, 28 people were killed after being hit by an express train while crossing the tracks in the state of Bihar.

Nigeria Will Be In Trouble If We Carry On With PDP – Buhari

Nigerians have been urged to use the opportunity presented by the 2015 general elections judiciously by voting out the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), who is expected to declare his intention to run for presidency under the All Progressives Congress (APC) on October 8, made the call in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday, while commissioning the 12,000-seater Ekiti Parapo Square.

“It is no doubt that Nigerians have been traumatized under the PDP leadership and Nigeria will be in trouble if we carry on the way the PDP has been doing in Nigeria,” he said.

Buhari expressed strong disapproval of the alleged tyranny of the PDP in the country, saying eligible voters can help put a stop to it by voting the ruling party out come 2015.

He therefore urged them to collect their permanent voter’s cards to ensure they participate in the election.

Buhari also tasked elites across the country to influence the less privileged masses and educate them on why it is important that they vote.

Gyang Claims Victim of Racist Abuse

Ghana’s Asamoah Gyang has claimed he was racially abused by Al Hilal midfielder Mihai Pintilii following his sending off during Tuesday’s AFC Champions League semi-final second leg.

The 28-year-old received a straight red for a two-footed tackle on winger Salem al Dawsari with 20 minutes left to the dead.

The Ghana captain was involved in some pushing and shoving before leaving the pitch for an early shower.

He wrote on his official website: “The player has no right to tell me what he did.

“He said something to me which made me upset. He said an abusive word- I really didn’t like it.
“He knows what he said, you can ask him. He knows what he said.”

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) hosts Al Ain failed to reach the final of the AF Champions League despite a 2-1 home win. Saudi outfit Al Hilal progressed to their first final 4-2 on aggregate after their 3-0 win in the first leg.

Al Ain are expected to launch a complaint to the Asian Football Confederation after gathering more facts about the incident.

Gyang admitted the red card was a fair decision by the referee.

“I must confess it was a harsh tackle,” Gyang added. “But in my mind I did not go for the player, I just went in strong for the ball. I am a professional.

“The referee took his decision. It is football so I cannot complain. I lost my head a bit, but life goes on.”

Jonathan Urges Nigerians To Vote Out Unproductive Leaders

President Goodluck Jonathan has called on Nigerians to go all out to register in the ongoing voter registration exercise, so as to be empowered to vote out unproductive leaders.

“The only way we can demand for accountability from our politicians is to equip ourselves and vote for people of our choice,” said Jude Imagwe, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youth and Student Matters, yesterday while donating empowerment materials on behalf of President Jonathan, to indigent people in Agenebode, in Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State.

According to him, the strength Nigerians have is their voting right.

“If we cannot vote tomorrow, we cannot equally measure or criticise the performance of government and the only reason that make us to vote is when we are registered.”

He also advised Nigerians to remain united after elections as it is only going to last for a day. “We should not see each other as enemies.”

Items donated include fertilizers, sewing machines, hair dryers, hand dryers and clippers.

House Of Reps Halts Collection Of N4000 NYSC Call-up Letter Fee

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has been mandated to suspend the online registration of prospective corps members which requires them to pay N4,000.

The House of Representatives gave this directive on Tuesday following a motion moved by Hon. Hassan Saleh (PDP, Benue).

“As laudable as the idea of sending call-up letters though the internet may be, the decision requiring fresh graduates to cough out N4,000 to access letters appears insensitive and exploitative,” said Saleh.

Although the NYSC argued that the old system of prospective corps members picking up their call-up letters at their schools still exist and that the body was not forcing anyone to get on the new system, the argument held no water with the lawmakers who have now initiated a probe into the matter.

The public petitions’ committee he chairs was already working on the matter, ruled that committee on youth development and the sponsor of the motion be invited to be part of the panel that will conduct a session on the matter
