Ahmed Musa scored twice as CSKA Moscow progressed to the play-offs of the Uefa Champions League with an entertaining 3-2 win away to Sparta Prague on Wednesday.
Musa, who announced the birth of his first daughter earlier that day, arrived the Czech capital on the back of last week’s dicey 2-2 draw in Russia.
Another Nigerian Kehinde Fatai put Sparta 2-0 up after Ladislav Krejci’s opener in Prague.
But two goals either side of the break from Musa levelled the tie for CSKA, before Sparta had Marek Matejovsky sent off in the 64th minute.
The Moscow club then capitalised on their numerical advantage as Alan Dzagoev sealed victory for the visitors.
